I have removed a strip light in the kitchen. Inside there was a mains cable connected via a terminal block to 3 other mains cables also connected via the same terminal block. Under each screw on the terminal block there was 2 separate cables connected. This circuit worked 4 separate light - the kitchen, the dining room, the living room and the porch light. Is it legal and safe to connect a lighting circuit using separate wires under the same screw in a terminal block.
