Hi, my flat has 3 elements to control electricity in a cupboard. I,m trying to work out the name of one part. It's black plastic, has a well insulated red cable and the same in black cable leading from it to the meter. The meter has brown and blue cables leading to the consumer unit.
Could anyone tell me what the black unit is called?
The reason I want to know is I probably need to get it changed, but it's a bit confusing if I have to keep saving , you know that black thingymajig with cables coming out of it!
