I recently had some electrical work undertaken (new consumer unit, addtl sockets and repl light fitting) and I've since read that when I sell the property I will need to provide evidence that any electrical work was done by a competent person. I wasn't given any receipts or a certificate for the work. Should I ask for one now? Is the electrician obligated to supply this?
