I am replacing a light fitting in our hallway ceiling which operates off of two light switches. There are 4 earth, 2 neutral, one live, and one black wire. I have a 3 wire connector with the 4 earth in one connection, 2 neutral in one connection, and the live in one connection. I have connected the black wire in with the two neutral and connected the light but it won't come on. When I put the black in with the live the light flickers on without being switched on. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong?
