I want to reveal the floorboards in 1920s house but on lifting carpet there are lots of dark liquid stains as well as water marks. How to proceed please?

hi ruth not really my field of expertise but from what i have seen over the years if you get a guy who specialises in sanding and renovating floors they will get rid of them no problem post the job on the site and you will get up to 3 responses . hope this helps alan
