hi vanessa if your floor is still a little uneven you wont need to put a deep base levelling compound just a normall finish coat levelling compound which will levell up to about 5mm and give you a nice smooth surface unlike deep base which isnt really designed as a finish coat but more of a hole filler ,when you have done the top coat you should be ok and even if you are couple of mil out that will be ok as that will be in the tolerance levels of most laminates . hope this helps . alan
