Room 6 x 3m, the floor drops off in one corner almost 30mm over 1.5sqm. Is it advisable to use self levelling to bring that area up, or do the whole room?

hi phill most levelling compounds arent designed to level that sort of depth but f.ball make one that is called base coat and can be used up to 25mm so i would fill up the lower area with that and then use a top coat self levelling for the last 5mm to get a nice smooth finish and depending on what floor covering your going to put on the floor it might be advisable to then go over the whole floor to get a nice smooth finish all over, hope this helps .alan
