Hi mary jo it is cheaper to buy your underlay on the internet you will save a lot of money but also if you are using an independant fitter he will supply to you normally at a cheaper rate than the big carpet shops and if i was you i would be looking for something like cloud nine or sofwalk both of which are a 9mm foam and very long lasting and comfortable . hope this helps alan
