Floor uneven

Floor half concrete half wood.not even by a tiny amount.what can I do without incurring great expence.Will be putting down lino.

Hello A Buy a bag or 2 of leveling compound and mix it with water, keep to the instructions and poor on the area. Cost for a 4m x 4m area we would charge £150 labour and materials. I would suggest you take the wood up and poor it on that area also. Regards Michael

The problem with Lino is that the floor has to be like a bowling Green. You best bet is to get a quote otherwise you will get all sorts of conflicting advice

Hi which is higher the wood or the concrete? If it's the concrete, prime it then spread self levelling compound, if it's the wood put down some ply that corresponds in thickness with the difference. Screw this down at 200mm centres.
