Laminate flooring

Posted by Lesley Flood, on
I have a guy laying 12mm laminate flooring in the front room. It seems a bit bouncy when I walk on it. The guy said that it was because my floor isn't even. Will the laminate break after a while of walking on it or will it just stay slightly bouncy

No way should the floor bounce. A poor excuse saying the subfloor is uneven. The fitter if the said person is a qualified fitter should point out at the quotation point that the subfloor needs to be addressed and again a qualified fitter will do this regards Jeff / Guild Flooring / F.I.T.A certified

Hi Lesley . It is bad if laminate floor bouncy . If tradesman put for you laminate floor he should know that under laminate surface must be on straight level . If no your laminate floor will be damage in one year or less. Now is question what kind of underfloor he put before lay laminate floor ? Some of underfloor can make laminate bouncy but not more than 0.5 mm. I hope it help you . regards Bogdan facebook : PROTON PROTON Rated people : PROTON
