Engineered wood floor laid onto tiles

Posted by Tim Foggin, on
Do I need to use DPM paint when laying wood floor directly onto existing tiles? the tiles are solid, very level and no signs of damp and have been down for many years. The DPM adds a lot to the job so don't want to waste money if it's not necessary.

Yes it's defiantly needed, the relative humidity is different and without a Dpm you will end up with the planks cupping
