The answer is simply no. even with oak floors. there are various contrast due to the age. however there is an alternative. jeff guild flooring
Floor Sanding

We have hardwood floors which can be sanded. The problem is that they are different woods and I want something more uniform. My question is: would it be possible to sand the floors, then stain them all the same colour - I am thinking something dark like a walnut or wenge.
