Hi Ian personally I always prefer to lay it as a floating floor as it allows maximum movement, put suitable underlay down and glue tongue and groove joints but do not fix to floor. I have always had good results using this method, the floors that I have seen problems with are the ones that are fixed to the sub floor. Ed
