How are creaking floors fixed? Who fixes them. Not boards but more like sheets of wood. Damaged when having heating system pipes installed.

Hi john Often the squeaking noise is cause by nails rubbing on the timber. If you screw the existing boards down into the joists that should stop it.failing that you may have to lift the boards ,Fit extra noggins and use hippo glue then fit boards back down to guaranteed a fix Thanks Stuart
