We have about 30sqm of reclaimed parquet flooring to be layed down and want to reduce the noise walking on it makes as much as possible and have read that cork underlay is very good for this. Is it okay to glue a cork underlay directly onto floorboards and then glue parquet flooring onto the cork underlay?
If cork underlay is not suitable then is it okay to glue the parquet flooring directly onto our floorboards?
