I am looking into buying some carpet for my stairs and am having trouble working out how much I will need.
My total length of the stairs and hallway is 9m and my hallway is 2m at it's widest point.
If I buy a stripe carpet in a 4m width, can I buy half the length and have the carpet cut in half width ways to allow for the bottom half of the stairs?
I was considering buying carpet that is 4.5m x 4m will this be enough?
