I am looking to get a concrete floor installed in my home. Currently have tiles at the moment and underneath is the standard wood batons as we have a cellar below.
It is approximately 17sq meters.
I was after a polished concrete as we have a dog so needs to be easily wipeable.
Had considered concrete tiles from bog standard tile shops but my dream is just a solid run of polished concrete.
Please can anyone recommend where to go for this that won't cost the earth. So far I've had a quote for £5000!... which for such a cheap material is quite expensive. I understand it has to be hand levelled as its a small scale so can't be done using machinery.. this may be where the cost comes from.
