Carpet query

I want three corners of my lounge carpet taken up/rolled back so that I can clean and dry underneath. The carpet corners would then have to be put back to their original neat fitting. i have been quoted £100 for this. Does that seem reasonable. I have absolutely no idea about the cost of such things. Thank you in anticipation. John

That sounds a little bit excessive. It all depends if the fitter has to travel far and if you want him to make two trips, one to uplift and another to relay? I wouldve said nearer £70 - £80 is more realistic but each to their own

It would depend were you are, but most trades have a minimum charge to do work per visit and this would be £50 a time, why not roll back yourself and get trades to refit?
