Reducing raised screed

Need to reduce 2m x 1m screed so new floor can fitted flush. Tried hitting it with a hammer (just bounced off).

Get a bigger hammer! No seriously if it’s a screed it shouldn’t be to hard you could hire a small kango breaker that should sort it
