Scotia or beading on floorboards

I have a gap between the floorboards and the skirting and it changes slightly around the room. At the highest point it is 26mm. I was going to buy this and after painting it white, apply it all around the room. Is this the right product? Is it fairly straight forward? Thank you in advance!

Hi, if the gap is 26mm. The beading will not coving it. Normal height of beading ranges to a max height of 18mm. You may wish to check thd level of the floor. May be a case of subfloor dropped. Regards Guild Flooring
