Vinyl plank flooring for unheated room

Posted by Barb Montgomery, on
The room is glassed in patio ...stays dry but basically same temperature as outside. I am getting two separate opinions on this. Installer says floating vinyl plank will work as it can expand and contract. Sellers say no....entire floor will need replacement in 1-2 years. We’re in an area where lowest temperatures would be -5 Celsius ...an odd occurrence. In summer this room gets no direct sun ....highest temperature 24 Celsius. I know indoor/outdoor carpet would be fine but really prefer the look of vinyl plank.
