When commissioning some landscape work, I specifically asked for a certain type of lawn protection mesh prior to agreeing to a quote. The landscaper did not use the right material and, despite promising to replace the mesh he used with the stuff I'd asked for, he is now uncontactable and I have had to order the material myself before the turf takes to the mesh he has put down. How can I go about getting a refund for the mesh I have now had to buy myself?
