As low as possible really id keep it atleast a couple of inches from ground level to avoid blunting the saw used
Stump Grinding

I am going to get a quote to grind 4 stumps shortly but I still need to fell 2 of the trees. What would the desired height for the stump to be left at for grinding. I can cut them to any size, I just don't want someone else to have to cut them if they aren't short enough so would ideally like to get the height right in readiness. Thanks
