What type of tradesman do i need ?

I need to quote for create a driveway for 3 cars from a sloping garden.....so would need to :- 1. Get council approval (I guess I need to do this) 2. Remove tree & hedge. 3. Dig out the soil forming the sloping garden to create a driveway 4. Pave / blockwork this driveway 5. With the soil create a level lawn nearer the house 6. Need to build a retaining wall creating a step between the 2 levels 7. Drop the kerb to the road

I don't think you need permission for driveway....you need permission to drop the kerb wich you cannot choose your tradesmen and council contractors only...then after will be one regulation to follow about drainage....30% of surface of driveway have to be clear soil "flower beds" to allow the rain water going underneath or install soakaway
