Turf on pebbles

Posted by Katy , on
How can I lay turf on top of pebbles. I live near a conservation area and the back garden is full of pebbles. It would be impossible to remove them

Hi Katy you have 2 options the first is to raise the ground level of the area you wish to turf by at least 6-8 inches of good quality topsoil put down and rolled in 2 inch layers to stop your garden from sinking in the future , second option is a faux grass we do a lot of Astro turf and the quality of the grass has really gone up in the past few years maybe worth contacting your local contractor for some samples Hope this helps Bill @W.J.Lowe & son
