In my opinion the job sounds expensive the majority of jobs I’ve done down the years we’re it was agreed to leave the waste behind have been well below what you paid but in some cases we’re the trees have been massive and near obstacles such as green houses and other properties then the high price becomes justified purely down to difficulty as for the waste that’s been left in your garden you shouldn’t be looking at a massive bill to get it removed as it’s only waste removal there’s no difficulty it’s just straight forward I hope this helps
