Hi, I hired P&R to do a complete re-landscaping of my garden, the quote including electrical work and planting. I was given a rendering, a price and a time frame of 10 days. From the start things went wrong: wrong logs, wrong placement of tiles, wobbly tile, incomplete materials for the job, promises of what would be done the next day but did not happen. He then denied the electrician was included in the quote, so I had to source that myself and pay extra. The plants requested never turned up. The robot mower he said he knew how to put in is still mid-work as he reads up the instructions. Part of the garden needed to be redesigned because he did not take the correct measurements. The stake for the washing line/parasol was forgotten and now it looks like they will have to make a right mess to put it where it was supposed to go. I have so far spend £12,500 and another £2,600 is outstanding which I am holding back at the moment despite increased pressure to pay up. The job started on the 2nd July and is still unfinished. I am at the end of my tether and would like to hire somebody else to do a rescue job with the money left. Can I do that. Please advise. Thanks, Els.
