Neighbor put up a fence panel without underpinning, Am I responsible ?

My neighbors fence has fallen , and they say it is because earth from my side has pushed it over, They did not underpin when putting up the fence.I am asked to get the earth removed from their garden, but I am elderly and isolating during the lockdown What can I do?
