My neighbour and I are jointly responsible for the dividing fence (it's in the deeds). About 2 years ago he attached planks to his side (at his own cost and without any consultation) and block paved his garden. The fence blew down in the storm. Am I responsible for half of the full repair, that includes removal and renailing his new planks) or just for half of the repair to the original fence.?
