I employed a tree surgeon to cut down some small saplings and trim down a hedge and he charged me £500 for 2 hours work and taking away the refuse, is this reasonable or should I report him to the police? I am a 79 year old widow and he is demanding I pay right away. What would be a reasonable price to pay?
