I have a suspected leak in my central heating system.How does one introduce a leak sealing compound into a sealed system & how effective are they?Can I DIY

Hi Leslie leak sealer is affective on small leaks but are you sure yu have a leak pressure loss can be caused by a number of things. You can DIY leak sealer by turning off one rad on both sides and draining that rad then put the leak sealer in using a rad dosing kit. You will the have to turn on rad and repressurise the system. Or if you are not confident post a job on rated people and get three free qoute, pick the smallest budget as this should cost no more the £75. I hope this helps Chris Sanders & Son
