Hi Beryl Please turn your boiler off first or isolate from mains. Underneath your boiler should be fitted flexible filling loop with valves which need opening. ( Or small metal pipe connected to 2 pipes with a valves) 1 of valves is letting water to a boiler another one is from mains. Please open 2 valves and you will hear water flow to a boiler . Check on gauge if reading increase and than top up up to 1 bar. Please do not turn boiler on until filling is complete . Close all valves then try to bleed radiators as trapped air can lock out your pump. If you will finish with all switch boiler on and should start automatically after 30 s. I hope this help.
