Install a thermostat

Planning to install a thermostat, at the moment there aren't any heat controller in the flat.
The thermostat (combi vaillant ecoplus 824) has two cables: one is obviously the power, the other one instead disappear inside the wall. How difficult is it to figure out if this one is the cable to connect the thermostat and where does it go?

Hi Simone , If you call a heating engineer or gas safe plumber they can remove the cable and fit you a wireless thermostat. hope this helps stuart S Thompson home improvements

Hi Simone It is very simple to install thermostat. In manual book of boiler is diagram of electrical connections to control a boiler.it. If you have wireless thermostat and you will required to control CH one cable need to be connected to a boiler anotherone is for main power.( inside your boiler where all connectors are there is a one connector for ( clock,thermostat) which is link ) and you will required to remove that link cable an connect cable from thermostat ) I can not tell you how to do it as you did not provide any details about thermosta( what make etc) Best regards Rafal
