Air Vent Power Flushing

Posted by Roy Richardson, on
I asked the experts about me having a power flush with my radiators having automatic air vents, I got a wonderful explanation of what automatic air vents do and what is a Powerflush both of which I knew the answer but what did not get answered was Can I have a Powerflush knowing that I already have automatic air events on my radiators or do they have to be removed for the Powerflush, 3 plumbers have told be different things and I am now unsure that is why I have come to ask the experts

Dear Kirsty As previously explained what is an air vent and power flushing can confirm that if you would required power flishing to your system it will not affect automatic air valves as long as they have lockshield valve and can be closed manualy. If they do not have lockshield valve they will have to be removed prior power flushing then fitted back. Best regards Rafal
