Heating engineer

Posted by Jeff Caffrey, on
Biasi boiler doesn't seem to be firing up. It went off once and the pressure was on 0, I've regulated back to under 2 and it came back on then went back off again. It's about 7 years old and never had any problems. I'm only available to discuss this after 4.30.

Dear Jeff I would suggest to post job description on main website . Once you've posted a job with us and had a local tradesman quote, you should have been sent an emailed link to his profile. From here, you can read previous customer recommendations and ratings. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal

You may need to get a heating engineer to look at your heating problem, a boiler just don't lose pressure with out an underlining problem.

It sounds like water is escaping from your central heating system via a leak or a faulty valve. The boiler is coming on when the system pressure is on 2 ( full of water ) but is shutting off as a safety precaution when the system does not have enough water to circulate ( 0 ). If it was to continue to heat with no water in it, it would be like boiling an empty kettle but on a much larger scale. Post the job with rated people asking for a heating engineer as soon as you can.
