Rehema Avanta diverter valve leaking

I have a Rehema Avanta combi and it's started leaking from the diverter valve. its approx 4 years old, the heating works fine, but hot water can be tempermental at times. I've had a friend look it over already (he's a heating enginneer) and he said it looks like the diverter valve as theres signs of water on it. He cannot carry the work out for us as he's quite busy. Any ideas if the sounds correct? And if it is the divert valve, how much do you think the job would be? We've checked the vessle and the overflow pipe and these are fine. Many thanks
