If the pcb is not sending power to the fan the the problem is the fan, And if you engineer do not know this then you need a new engineer that knows how to fault find. Please use qualified Gas persons.
Boiler not working

I have a baxi solo 3 pfl range which has stopped working.
I have had an engineer out. He as informed me that he has tested everything he can and as come to standstill in that he needs to change the pcb. He said that there may not be anything wrong with the pcb but he can't test the fan until this is changed.
Is this correct or can he test the fan by putting power to it.?
