Loft hot water and heating issues, please help!

Posted by Peter Lu, on
I will be doing a loft conversion and have some problems that needs solution which I really hope you guys can spare a moment to help me. I am going to have a bathroom in the loft and here are the following questions that I have: 1) the water tank is in the loft, do I need to install a pump to feed the shower and basin in the loft given that there is no head or gravity? 2) If I install the tank just below the roof, will there be enough pressure for the shower and basin? 3) Can I connect mains water directly to the bathroom in the loft? Will the pressure be sufficient? 3) As the hot water cylinder is on the 1st floor, can I use a pump for the hot water to flow up to the loft? 4) How can I get hot water going up to the loft's radiator? 4) Can I install a pump for the heating water to flow up to the loft? 5) 6) How much gallons do you recommend for my house with 3 bathrooms?
