Room thermostat

Posted by Eric Biswell, on
I have a gas CH system consisting of a Vaillant Ecotech boiler controlled by a central programmer and TRV's in each room. At present I do not have a room thermostat, but I have been advised that I need to have one fitted to comply with current building regs. Is this correct and is it a job for a heating engineer or an electrician?

Yes that's correct It can be done by either, but being biased i find that an electrician would do a better job. similar to an electrician doing a small amount of plumbing will work but not be as neat as a plumber!!

What would you like to do now?
