I have recently turned on the central heating (the first time since spring this year. The heating came on twice but now refuses to do so. The boiler seems to start up okay when the heating is turned on and the rads start to warm up, but, after a few minutes the boiler just stops and the rads are barely warm. The boiler works fine heating up the water and the radiator in the loo at the same time. I Have a gas boiler ( Potterton Flamingo CF30/50), serviced two years ago.
Why won't the boiler stay on to heat the radiators but comes on to heat the water and loo radiator?
