Hot water OK but radiators are all cold!

Posted by Susan Bissmire, on
I had been away for a week. When I came home I switched heating on and Honeywell controls fused - on replacing fuse I noticed some dripping water near pump. Hot water is fine but radiators are cold. Checked pump, bled radiators - radiators came on for short while but downstairs only getting warm and then system stopped. New thermostat installed to no avail.

Hi sounds like the mid position 3 way valve is at fault here. Or if you have two seperate zone valves it may be the heating one not fully open. If its fused its probably due to water on the electrics. Or burnt out motor in the valve. Good luck regards steve
