New Heating System

Posted by Barney Smith, on
I am looking to have a new heating system installed. Currently I have a log burner and that's it. No rads, no nothing. The hot water is provided by an old copper cylinder with an immersion that is fed by a header tank. It is a 3 bed terrace. I want to know what is best to do, have a new modern cylinder that runs the hot water and the shower and then have a boiler to do the radiators or have a combi doing both? Space is not an issue really as the house is quite large. The heating system will only really be used in the bedrooms as the fire keeps pretty much all downstairs warm. What would be the most efficient option? Any advice is appreciated.
