Electrical water heating system

Posted by Johnathan Lee, on
I need to have my electric water heating system replaced by a similar (but modern) system. What documentation should I ask the contractor to supply so that I know he is qualified? Is he obliged to hold liability insurance?

Hello Johnathan, Your electrician will need to be Part P of the Building regulations qualified and a member of a electric body such as NICEIC. He will need to carry insurance to be a member of that scheme. Web address is - niceic.com/join-us/part-p-domestic-installer-scheme
