Baxi duo tec boiler please please please can you help

My baxi duo tec is driving me mad. You put the heating on and for some reason only sometimes the temperature will shoot up to 80+ you have to switch the timetable clock off and run the got taps for a little while. Other days the heating comes on fine. This will last a few hours and then the same happens again. We have had a new pump and diverter value fitted and it's still doing it. I have had several people out and they still can't find the problem. Can anyone please help I'm at the end of my tether with it
