I'm looking to replace a conventional boiler in a townhouse and was wondering if siting the boiler in an external utility cupboard (breeze block cupboard in porch housing meters with a pine door) is sensible and allowed by regs (proximity to meters)? The current boiler is in a kitchen cabinet which would be freed up if it's relocated.
