Boiler keep turning itself off and on all the times

It's happened for a few week now that the boiler (the control unit) keep turn it self off and then for awhile it will turn on and working normally.. it keep doing this for a few weeks now.. Is it serious do I need to repair my boiler? If not is there anything I can fix this by myself? Thanks in advance Regards
