I have Firebird boiler which features a Riello burner. The burner fires up first time without a problem, runs and heats perfectly, however, when it shuts down and completes its post purge, it goes into a lockout state requiring a manual reset.
The lockout light flashes red, and the manual says this means there is a "False Flame Signal". The boiler has to be left for 15 - 20 mins before it will respond to a manual reset.
Can anyone suggest what may be causing this?
