Ideal Boiler

I have an Ideal Combi Logic 24. The boiler works fine when the heating is on. However, as soon as the heating is turned off (when we manually turn the heating off on the room thermostat), there is no hot water and the boiler fail to fire up the burner. It shows the fault code L2. When we reset it, the blue burner light shows for a second or two and looks like it is struggling to start up. It is only after we turn the heating back on and reset it a few times (sometimes about 10 times) the burner fires up. Please can someone explain what the problem could be and quote a repair cost. Thank you

Hi The error is to do with flame failure of flame detection failure. So could be the ignition that is faulty, the detector is faulty or your condensing pipe is blocked or has defective
