Hi Chris depending on work your friend is carrying out may not necessarily require him to have to have qualifications or certificates not all trades require these but all will have to third party insurance and of course if they don’t do good work and look after there customers in the correct manner they will not get the good ratings and therefore they will find it a lot more difficult to get work via this website Hope this helps
