Hi, I've recently bought a property which has 2 real flame gas fires and a gas boiler. There are a couple of things that concern me about the set up. Firstly, the boiler is mounted on an interior wall and the flue runs up through a bedroom and into the loft where it joins the gas fire flues and exits the roof as one. I don't like that I have it concealed behind a fake chimney breast in the bedroom and i'm not sure what the rules are concerning joining multiple flues together in the loft space. Although the boiler is fairly new, it isn't a combi boiler.
The survey didn't pick this up as an issue but it doesn't seem right to me.
Any thoughts?
